The fourth international conference, Teaching Languages and Cultures in the Post-Method Era: New Insights and Innovations (TLC 2023), was held on October 6th and 7th, 2023, at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš. The conference was supported by the US Embassy. I was looking forward to it from the moment I heard that it was not just a possibility because I had attended the previous TLC conferences. I was well aware of how professionally and expertly they were organized. And it was everything that I hoped for and more. Not only did I get the opportunity to hear something new and revise something old, but I also got reminded of the sense of belonging to a community of professionals, the sense of building it up, and the sense of purpose of our profession that was prevalent there.
