The U.S. Embassy in Belgrade and ELTA are accepting applications for a free in-service training seminar for teachers of English to be held 17-20 June 2022 at Hotel Grand, Kopaonik. Participants will arrive on Friday afternoon, 17 June 2022, and depart after lunch on 20 June 2022.

Theme: Digital Literacy

The training will address topics such as 21st-century competencies, digital and media literacy, virtual reality, mobile applications and their use in the language classroom, lesson planning etc.

The U.S. Embassy in Belgrade and the RELO office are kindly sponsoring grants to facilitate and encourage the participation of 35 teachers from Serbia and ELT professionals displaced by conflict and residing in or near Serbia by providing support to cover their travel expenses, accommodation, and meals. Participants will receive free room and board for the full length of the training. Lodging will be in Hotel Grand, and participants will have to share a room with another participant in the program. Participants who are accepted into the program are eligible for reimbursement of travel costs (bus tickets).

To apply, complete the application form by the due date. Post-deadline submissions will not be considered. The decisions will be emailed to successful applicants by 7 June 2022.

The Summer School has been accredited by the Institute for Educational Advancement (24 CPD points). Please note that the official ZUOV certificates can be issued only to teachers at Serbian state schools.
