TESOL-Spain Webinar Programme: Call for Abstracts

Dear colleagues,

TESOL-Spain would like to invite you to contribute to their monthly e-newsletter with articles, tips for teaching, useful websites, announcements of events, etc. All relevant information can be found on their website, and the contact person is Ms Rebecca Place at tesolspainpublications@gmail.com.

For the last four years, TESOL-Spain has been offering a monthly webinar programme free of charge for members and non-members alike. The programme aims to provide teachers and student teachers worldwide access to professional training and development opportunities.

TESOL-Spain would like to invite you to submit a proposal for a webinar presentation to support this education initiative. Webinar presentations are given voluntarily for educational purposes, and speakers are not compensated.

Their monthly webinars are:

  • open to both members and non-members of TESOL-Spain
  • 50 minutes long with approximately 10 minutes for participants’ questions.

Please send an abstract (60 words) no later than 20 July 2022 at office@elta.org.rs that accurately describes what you intend to do during the session, biodata, and a photo (optional but desirable), so they can publish it in their newsletter and social media.

Presenters must have access to:

  • a strong internet connection, preferably LAN/hard-wired rather than Wi-Fi
  • a good quality webcam and microphone.
  • set of headphones that you agree to wear during the session to ensure better sound quality.

Following the webinar, presenters are kindly requested to submit a follow-up for TESOL-Spain e-Newsletter. You can choose to do this in the form of an article, an interview or answering participants’ questions received in the chat box during the live session.

Please contact Teresa Bestwick at verybouncyperson@gmail.com for everything related to webinars.
