Dear fellow teachers,
We are waiting for you at the 19th annual ELTA conference. If you have not decided yet whether you are going to attend or not, ‘meeting’ some of the presenters on the following pages will give you a taste of what the conference has to offer and may just be that deciding factor to say yes to the event. If, however, you are a confirmed attendee, the articles here will give you more information about the presenters’ topics and sessions.
This year we have four plenary speakers: Susan Hillyard, Pamela Johnson, Radmila Popović and Lindsay Warwick. In this issue of the ELTA Newsletter, you can read interviews with each of them to gain a better understanding of who they are as professionals.
In addition, there are 35 sessions with a range of topics and the presenters, seven of whom have contributed their thoughts and ideas and verse to this pre-conference issue, come from 18 different countries.
We are looking forward to seeing both ELTA members and non-members equally at the event where you will enrich your teaching skills, reconnect with dear colleagues and friends, and continue your professional development.
