SEETA Project

With the startof the new school year, another project was officially launched – SEETA or an online network of South East Europe Teaching Associations, which ELTA belongs to. This project is funded by the British Council Greece and led by TESOL Macedonia Thrace Northern Greece. It is a moodle platform for virtual communication between regional Teachers’ Associations (TAs) aimed at creating a closer community of TAs, mutual support and overcoming time and geographical constraints.

To kick off the start of the school year, SEETA organized an online discussion with Penny Ur (author of Five-Minute Activities) as a guest speaker. The topic was Using L1 in English Lessons and the discussion took place from 14th to 21st September. Penny Ur responded and posted her responses in her own time, on the same day though.
