Josip Sobin embarked on a journey to the United States in the late 1990s to pursue a degree in molecular biology. During his graduate and postgraduate studies, he discovered his passion for education. Upon returning to Split, Josip assumed leadership at the family school, recognizing the profound impact of language proficiency in the global landscape. 

Today, Josip Sobin is the CEO of Jantar – International House Split. This allowed him to participate in numerous KA1 and KA2 Erasmus projects. His dedication and impactful contributions culminated in his appointment as an Erasmus+ Ambassador for Adult Education for the period spanning 2022 to 2024.

Furthermore, Josip Sobin continues to shape educational policies and strategies as a prominent member of the Board at the International House World Organization, demonstrating his commitment to fostering educational excellence on a global scale and connecting educators worldwide.
