By Tanja Radović, Primary School IV Kraljevački bataljon, Kraljevo

Tanja Radović, a dedicated English language teacher and member of the local association of English language teachers from Kraljevo, had the privilege of attending the 22nd ELTA conference on May 17th and 18th, 2024, thanks to a grant from ELTA.

Held in the heart of Belgrade, the conference took place at the Hotel Prag and a nearby venue, both centrally located for easy access. Tanja was particularly delighted to attend the plenary discussion led by Clare Sears, Western Balkans Director of the British Council, and Nebojša Đurić, the Manager of the British Council Exam Department.

During the session, they explored the significance of the English language in today’s world and its impact on shaping the future through teaching and learning. They also shared their insights on the role of AI in ELT, emphasizing the substantial support AI can provide in testing.
