Suzana Kitanović, from Primary School ’Milić Rakić Mirko’, Prokuplje, shared her heartfelt reflections on the 22nd ELTA Serbia International Conference, themed “Exploring the New Frontiers of ELT”, held at the Faculty of Education in Belgrade on 17–18 May 2024.
For Suzana, these two days were filled with inspiration, motivation, and a renewed sense of purpose in teaching. With 28 years of experience, she reflects on the highs and lows of her career—starting with enthusiasm, receiving gratitude from former students, and facing the reality that teachers often lack the admiration and support they deserve.
