This is the most popular ELT conference in this part of the world; that’s why I am very honoured to be here.
Stated one of the guests at the opening ceremony. Ever since I have started taking part in practical teaching conferences alongside with the scientific ones, everybody was talking about the annual IATEFL Slovenia conference. Nevertheless, no one could clearly explain what makes this event so special, but I was repeatedly told I needed to experience it myself. So, as soon as I saw ELTA’s call for representatives, I didn’t hesitate for a second. I promptly submitted the workshop proposal and hoped for the best.
