Dear colleagues,
We are thrilled to announce that Radmila Popović will be joining us as our third plenary speaker for the 2021 ELTA Online Conference!
Does literature still have a place in ELT, or has it lost its universal appeal in the digital age? What can teachers do to spark the curiosity of the growing number of reluctant readers and make their engagement with literary art more meaningful and relevant for their needs and interests?
The aim of this interactive talk titled ‘Rethinking the Role of Literature in ELT in the Digital Age’ is to address these questions by exploring the why, what, and how of using literature in the 21st century language classroom.
You can find more information in our Plenary Speakers section.
Eager to attend the Conference? Don’t forget to register and get inspired by Radmila’s plenary speech.
The conference has been accredited by the Institute for Educational Advancement.
We look forward to seeing you online in May!
