Dear colleagues,
As our chit-chat sessions are approaching their end, it is only fit to have a party and jam a bit. And what better way to do so but to combine technology and discussion – Jamboards and breakout rooms, Mentimeter and annotation, EdPuzzle and Padlet. We will talk about media literacy and the importance of developing critical thinking skills, about the difference between informing news and propaganda, we will see how false news spreads and …. shhhhhh…spread some false news ourselves.
Join ELTA Serbia in an effort to decipher media literacy and debunk the reality that surrounds us. Our host will be Jelena Spasić, who has been working as an English language teacher in a foreign languages school “Oxford School”, Leskovac, for over 20 years. In 2020, she took part in the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program and spent six amazing weeks at Kent State University. This workshop, together with a whole raft of photos, is the result of that program.
PS. You don’t need to come prepared, just join us and enjoy!
