Unlocking My Well-Being Code in Split

This March, Dr. Dragana Vasilijević-Valent had the inspiring opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ training course as part of the Emotionally Healthy Classroom project (2024-1-RS01-KA122-ADU-000240462).

The course, titled “Unlock Your Well-Being Code – A Healthy Teacher Offers More!”, was organized by LinaEDU and held in the picturesque city of Split, Croatia, from March 10 to 15, 2025.

What set this course apart from many other professional development programs was its unique and timely focus on teacher well-being. While numerous initiatives address student mental health, this program placed educators front and centre, offering them practical tools and strategies to improve their own mental and physical health.

The training emphasised the importance of sustainable work-life balance, emotional resilience, and self-care routines that educators can truly apply to their everyday lives. Dr. Vasilijević-Valent noted that investing in teacher well-being ultimately benefits not just the individuals but entire classrooms and school communities.

ELTA Serbia is proud to support professional development opportunities that empower teachers both professionally and personally.
