Marija Trošić had the honour of representing ELTA at the 32nd International HUPE Conference, themed “Inspire and Be Inspired”, which took place in Valamar Poreč from November 15th to 17th. The conference brought together educators from across the globe, creating a dynamic platform to exchange ideas and innovative practices in English language teaching.
During the event, Marija delivered an engaging workshop titled “Cultural Awareness in an Envelope”, showcasing the Pan Pal Project, developed in collaboration with the Greek Language Center. The workshop focused on fostering cultural awareness through interactive and creative activities.
Marija began by presenting the objectives and methodology of the Pan Pal Project, emphasizing the role of cultural exchange in enhancing language learning. She shared concrete examples of activities integrated into the project, demonstrating how they cultivate language skills while deepening participants’ understanding of diverse cultures.
This conference highlighted the power of collaboration and innovation in language teaching, inspiring participants to implement new approaches in their classrooms.
