Elevate English Teaching Across Serbia with ELTA Serbia and the British Council!
ELTA Serbia is excited to introduce our newest professional development initiative: Teach English with BC’s TeachingEnglish, in collaboration with the British Council. This project will harness the British Council’s TeachingEnglish resources to uplift English language education throughout Serbia.
Are you a dedicated English teacher ready to expand your skills? This is a chance to inspire and lead others while joining a national network of educators.
Project Details:
We’re looking for 15 skilled teacher trainers from various cities to lead one-day training sessions for English teachers across 15 locations in Serbia. This is an opportunity to impact the community, support professional growth, and contribute to educational excellence.
Trainer Requirements:
- Serbian citizenship
- Background in English Language and Literature
- Extensive experience in teacher training
- At least ten years of teaching experience
- Currently a full-time teacher in an educational institution
- Availability in late November for a one-day training session
- Willing to partner with British Council expert Linda Ruas and ELTA Serbia experts to develop and deliver two workshops/model lessons
- Prepared to conduct a one-day training session for English teachers in the assigned city
- Membership in the ELTA Serbia Association
