Dear ELTA members,
ELTA is looking for one official representative to attend and deliver a presentation at the upcoming 2023 IATEFL Associates’ Day, which will be taking place in Harrogate Convention Centre on Monday, 17 April 2023. The representative will also be able to attend the rest of the 2023 IATEFL Conference, offering further networking and professional development opportunities. Presentation Info and Guidelines
The presentations are TED-style presentations, which means that the focus is on one specific topic/project, and there is a maximum of 10 minutes for your presentation. The following are suggestions of topics which could be covered:
- A recent project that your TA ran
- A training session that your TA held
- Communication strategies within your TA
- How your TA develops a strategy for growth
- How your TA is recovering from the impact of the last two years.
These are a few suggestions but highlight the fact that we would like you to choose something which showcases your TA and that other TAs will find of interest.
What is the IATEFL Associates’ Day?
The IATEFL Associates’ Day is a full-day networking and peer-led training day which provides IATEFL-affiliated teaching associations with a valuable opportunity to share ideas on key issues, challenges and concerns relevant to the running of a teaching association. Attendees will have the chance to discuss their experiences and showcase good practice and work with other representatives from around the world.
