ELTA Serbia is pleased to support and promote international English language competitions organised by STEMCO and OlympiadUSA, giving students in Serbia the chance to test their knowledge, build confidence, and become part of a wider international learning community.
And no, you do not need to pack a suitcase just yet. Your first stop is online.
🏆 STEMCO English 2026
The next STEMCO English qualifying round takes place on:
📅 25 and 26 September 2026
The competition is open to students from Grades 1 to 12, with tasks and competition formats adapted to different age groups.
You will put your English skills to work through:
📖 Reading comprehension
👀 Visual text analysis
✍️ Spelling
💬 Vocabulary
🧩 Grammar and language use
The special participation fee offered for the region is 20 USD.
If you achieve a strong result, you may qualify for the STEMCO Global Final English in Singapore in November 2026.
So, if you have ever wondered what your English can do outside the classroom, this could be a rather interesting way to find out.
🇺🇸 OlympiadUSA English
OlympiadUSA offers online English competitions for students in Grades 3–12.
You can choose to participate in one round or several throughout the school year. There is no requirement to enter every round.

Global Round English takes place in Miami, Florida, from March 17-22, 2027.
Following rounds:

Global Round English takes place in Houston, Texas, from July 1-6, 2027.
The participation fee is approximately 25 USD per round and is paid directly to the organiser.
After each round, students receive an appropriate certificate or award, while top-performing participants may have the opportunity to progress to international final events in the United States.

ELTA Serbia supports these opportunities by sharing information with schools, teachers, students, and families.
All registrations and payments are completed directly with the competition organisers. ELTA Serbia does not collect participation fees or manage student registrations.
If you are considering participation in an international final, please also keep in mind that travel, accommodation, final competition fees, and related expenses are separate and may represent a significant additional cost.
