Applications are now open for the Online Professional English Network (OPEN) Fall 2026 term.
The OPEN program offers English teaching professionals the opportunity to take innovative, online university-level courses that:
- introduce and explore current methodological concepts and issues in the English as a Foreign Language field
- provide an innovative distance-learning experience using the latest technology
- connect participants with U.S. English language teaching experts and create a professional network of international colleagues
The Fall 2026 term runs from September 22 to November 16, and the application deadline is July 13, 2026.
Please find the course descriptions and application form attached. Interested teachers should submit their completed application to belgraderelo@state.gov.
