Welcome to the 24th ELTA Serbia International Conference, taking place in Belgrade on 15–16 May 2026. This year’s theme, “No Borders, Just Bridges: The Global Reach of English Teaching”, celebrates connection, collaboration, and the remarkable ways English teaching brings people together across classrooms, cultures, and communities. After all, few professions build bridges quite like teaching does.
We are truly delighted to have you with us this year. Whether you are joining as a speaker, participant, partner, or friend of ELTA Serbia, thank you for contributing to the energy, ideas, and international spirit of this event.
Over the next two days, the conference will bring together educators from 21 countries through five plenary sessions and more than 50 workshops, presentations, and talks. Alongside professional development, we hope this conference also offers space for meaningful conversations, new collaborations, shared inspiration, and those memorable moments that often happen between sessions, over coffee, and in the corridors.

The registration desk is located on the first floor. Please collect your conference bag and wristband upon arrival.
🎟 Access to all sessions is wristband only, so please wear your wristband throughout both conference days.
🎁 Raffle tickets will be distributed during the closing ceremony.
🎤 Conference Etiquette & Practical Information
For speakers, we kindly ask that you arrive on time and test your technology in advance if needed.
For participants, please avoid entering or leaving rooms while presentations are in progress. We also kindly ask that mobile phones remain in silent mode and that personal belongings are not left unattended.
☕ Complimentary coffee and refreshments will be served on the first floor during scheduled breaks.
🥪 Lunch is not provided, so participants are welcome to bring their own lunch or explore nearby dining options.
🚫 Please note that food and beverages are not permitted inside lecture rooms.
To make your conference experience as comfortable as possible, we recommend allowing enough time between sessions to move between rooms and keeping your wristband with you at all times.
📄 Certificates & Feedback Forms
🇷🇸 Serbian state school teachers seeking a ZUOV certificate are kindly asked to complete the required feedback form on-site.
✅ ZUOV certificates are issued only to participants attending both conference days.
📱 To receive an ELTA Certificate of Attendance, please scan the designated QR code available throughout the venue and at the registration desks.
For both ZUOV and ELTA certificates, participants are required to complete the official conference feedback and survey forms.
