ELTA Happy Week

From 20 to 26 April 2026, we are rolling out Happy Week, seven days to renew your ELTA membership at a discounted rate or join our community for the first time.

The timing is especially fitting, as Happy Week reaches English Language Day on 23 April, a date linked to Shakespeare’s birthday and the anniversary of his death. In the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, English was evolving quickly, and Shakespeare’s linguistic creativity helped shape that change through hundreds of words and phrases that are still alive and well today. Not every membership week gets literary company quite this good.

We bring together primary and secondary teachers, university educators, language school professionals, English students, and all those committed to excellence in English language teaching. Membership offers preferential rates for the ELTA Annual Conference and ELTA events, reduced fees for Ministry-accredited courses and seminars, a free weekly newsletter, cross-border networking, job alerts for language schools, scholarships and grants for professional development abroad, participation in regional and international projects, and the possibility of joining IATEFL with a member discount code.

• The annual membership fee is 3,000 RSD, and the Happy Week fee is 2,000 RSD.
• For students, retired teachers, and persons with disabilities, the annual fee is 1,500 RSD, while the Happy Week fee is 1,000 RSD.
• The 2+1 institutional membership fee remains 6,000 RSD throughout the year.
