Online Professional English Network (OPEN) program offers virtual learning opportunities to English language educators, professionals, and learners worldwide. OPEN promotes mutual cultural exchange and provides free access to reusable, adaptable, and shareable teaching and learning materials.
OPEN professional development opportunities are sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, implemented by FHI 360, and created by U.S. academic institutions and TESOL experts.
OPEN Online Courses for Teachers are 8-week, instructor-led teacher-training courses that enable English teaching professionals to earn university-level professional development through partner universities in the United States. Courses use the latest instructional technology to deliver an interactive distance-learning experience and are designed to introduce current methods and key issues in English as a Foreign Language.
Participants also connect with U.S. English language teaching experts and build a professional network of international colleagues.
